A Software Integration Engineer will be responsible for working closely with the Graphics Designers and within the “Volusion E-commerce Software” to integrate graphic content (i.e. banners, marketing ads, etc.) for a variety of e-commerce stores. The developer will be in charge of content integration from redlines/jpegs, script modification and creation for estimated 30-35 e-commerce websites. This is a web production position.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES


• Work closely with the Graphic Designers to integrate web content into the “Volusion E-commerce Software” for variety of e-commerce stores


• Identify the best possible creative solution to achieve business goals by taking technology and user experience into consideration.


• Develop creative solutions with an eye toward design quality and user experience

QYALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS


• Knowledge of and experience in integrating content within the “Volusion E-commerce Software” required!


• Minimum 3-5 years experience in backend integration of creative front end web content


• The candidate MUST have the ability to 'tinker' and resolve problems to get a specific pre-defined 'look' as based on the provided redlines/jpeg. This includes the ability to understand when implementing a potential solution, how it may impact the user experience and business objectives


• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, XML, JavaScript and PHP, ASP and ASP.NET; with solid knowledge in Flash, AJAX, and other Internet technologies


• Strong understanding of retail e-commerce business and use of technology in achieving sales, marketing and business goals of the e-commerce website


• Experience working with retail e-commerce merchandising and marketing teams


• Must be: detail-oriented, quality-focused and customer/consumer-oriented.


• Must be: VERY CREATIVE, solution-oriented using appropriate analysis and seeking member feedback to provide complete design specifications for online promotions

• Location: Anywhere in the USA


• Compensation: negotiable


• Type: Contract to hire (40 hours per week on average)

In the past, this was possible however it required more effort than many customers wished to invest. With eCart 5 we fully support this option, simply click a button and your shopping cart and checkout process will be created without payment gateway integration - a fantastic new feature for order submission.

New Cart Designs & Color Management

To spice up the release of eCart 5 we have also included 3 new professionally designed shopping cat designs to help give your future online store implementations a fresh new look.
