Looking to recruit a dynamic, creative and adaptable Junior Web Designer to join its team delivering and maintaining the web presence of its multiple online brands. With design flair, technical literacy, an eye for detail and a broad vision of how visual design combines with content and functionality to make compelling user experiences.
Were looking for:
* A team player who can work independently but communicates often.
* 2 to 3 years experience in the real world.
* Strong existing portfolio (essential)
* Strong command of design, layout and typography.
* Proficient with the Adobe Creative Suite, especially Photoshop and Flash
* Fluent in CSS, emphasizing table-free layouts.
* Able to contribute from initial design process through the creation of clean, valid XHTML.
* Knowledge / Experience of PHP an advantage
Primary Job Functions
* Creating and maintaining flash and html banners for our online brands.
* Creating and maintaining E-Mail campaigns.
* Designing html newsletters.
* Creating and refreshing existing design elements on our online brands.
* Working with project team members including project coordinators and other web designers, on a daily basis.
Location: North West London
Salary: Up to £25,000

Position Summary:
Responsible for assisting the Sr. Graphic Designer in determining and preparing color and graphic design (and other related design) for products, with a focus on product graphics

Essential Responsibilities:
• Creates graphics and colors for a variety of product lines.
• Works closely with Director of ID on all projects.
• Works closely with Marketing and Product Development Team to ensure designs and materials are aligned with brand look and feel.
• Responsible for researching in and out of industry style trends; preparing competitive analysis of the findings for group review.
• Responsible for creating graphic comps, decal sheets and placement charts for bicycle graphics.
• Responsible for communication with decal makers and assembly factories to ensure proper execution of graphic direction in production.
• Responsible for designing carton artwork, hang tag artwork and any other visual material included in the OEM spec of the product.
• Keeps products current with new and developing trends in the industry.
• Organizes and maintains design and decal files.
• Follows internal controls and company policies as set by company and job function.
• Assists the marketing design team with overflow work when possible.
• Contributes to the success of company by assisting with or leading other projects and tasks as assigned.
Travel Responsibilities:
• Domestic travel required.
• International travel; Approximately 1-2 trips to Asia each year

Specific Skills
Skills and Experience Requirements:
• Experience with Illustrator, InDesign, Quark, Photoshop and/or other related programs required.
• Must be familiar with Macintosh computer systems.
• Knowledge of basic marketing principles required.
• Ability to work in a team environment required.
• Excellent communication skills required.
• Ability to work in a fast paced, tight deadline environment.
Beneficial Qualifications:
• Experience with Asian manufacturing helpful.
• Experience in product decal and color design helpful.
• Prior work experience in marketing or product development helpful.
• Knowledge of MS Office applications beneficial.
• Understanding of the product development process helpful.
• Experience with Flash or other web-based design software.
Educational Requirements:
• BS Degree in Graphic Design
