Need A Web Designer

You don’t develop a site like that if you have to ask a question like yours. It represents a few man-years of effort by experienced programmers.

You’d go about starting to do it by learning programming (not a computer language – the science of computer programming, a totally different thing). Then you’d learn HTML, CSS, Javascript, AJAX, PHP, SQL – at least.

Then you’d get at least a few years experience developing simpler sites.

I develop web sites for a living and I wouldn’t tackle a site like that as a single person development.

i want someone to make website for me. how to explain what i want in a language that s/he will understand me?

Well, this is a good question. Hopefully an experienced web designer will know exactly what you are trying to achieve.

First, you will have your design and layout of your site. Have some sample sites that you’ve visited before and like and show them as a reference.

You also want a website that is search engine friendly. So make sure your web designer is familiar with Search Engine Optimization (SEO).

In addition, if you plan on selling items from your site, make sure your web person is familiar with various shopping cart programs, SSL certificates and Paypal and 2Checkout and how in the future you can easily add more items to sell.

Take everything in steps. Allow the web designer to create a couple of samples first to get an idea of both of you are on the same page.

There are services out there that match up web jobs with skilled labor. The provide a safety net to both parties meaning the web person doesn’t get paid until you are satisfied with his job. One such company that I’ve used several times is called Rent A Coder. See source below.

Good Luck!
