We are a start-up website building a team for the next stage of our website development. We are looking for an extremely experienced Zend Framework expert since our site is built upon this platform. Additionally, we are looking for someone who is experienced with theYouTube/Facebook/Twitter (oAuth) APIs. Additionally, our site is heavy in JavaScript, and will require someone very familiar with custom JS as well as the jQuery library. We would like to start off on a consulting basis, that could turn into full time if the relationship works out.

San Diego or nearby is the preferred location. In the beginning the majority of the work will be telecommuting. More details about the website and compensation can be provided once we are contacted with genuinely interested candidates.

We are seeking a motivated, well-rounded Drupal, Flash and User Interface Developer to be a key player in the design and creation of content-rich websites as well as several industry leading web applications. You will be working directly with web producers, stakeholders and fellow developers to create scalable, consumer-facing websites built on the Drupal CMS, including custom theming, custom module creation and the configuration of contributed modules with an emphasis on stability and security.

In addition, you will also be a major contributor in the development of Flash rich media applications for myriad uses, from web applications to interactive marketing materials. Responsibilities include working with project managers and stakeholders in the implementation and completion of development tasks, initial quality control and providing general creative expertise in Flash development.

Lastly, you will contribute to UI success and usability, both for sites constructed in Drupal and other leading web applications. Responsibilities will include contributing to the design of page layouts and building prototypes, defining UI specifications and producing wire frames, mockups and site or applications flow diagrams. Your focus will be to enhance the user experience, enhance the design, and add significant value to the product and the company image for each project you work on.

You will have the opportunity to work with several fun and energetic developers, UI designers, project and product managers, site producers and marketing/sales professionals. You will need to be familiar with PHP, database development and Object Oriented development. You will be working in a creative, fast-paced environment, and must be able to adhere to critical project timelines and meet aggressive deadlines. Creative energy is a plus.

Requirements:

• Mid-level developer experience
• Drupal Experience – Working with Content Management Systems, configuring, designing, developing and supporting Drupal sites.
• Ability to customize existing and create custom modules for different versions of Drupal CMS
• Basic mySQL skills
• Expertise in web programming, including PHP, AJAX, JavaScript, XHTML and CSS
• Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop including navigating and manipulating layered design files
