Seeking a brilliant, talented-as-hell web designer to provide design and front-end support to a ridiculously talented team of rails developers. You should have a clean, artistic, pixel-perfect design sensibility, have a good sense of the development process (even if you don’t code), and be able to manage and motivate yourself well without excessive guidance. *Local candidates only. No firms unless you’re small, local, and perhaps looking to partner on some projects*

The ideal candidate will have some serious CSS and HTML chops (bonus points for SASS and HAML), although please do contact us if you’ve just got some serious design skills.

If selected you’ll be working a remote capacity with an experienced, progressive, friendly team of web developers (only one of who does any design). Though most of our work is done remotely, we do meet in person every now and again to orient ourselves, crank out some code, and just hang out and learn from each other. We have skype conferences every now and again too.(we meet in person every now and again as needed)

We’ll have consistent work for you (it’s pouring in, right now), including a job that could start as early as next week.

If you’re interested, please e-mail me with some links to stuff you’ve done, a description of your skills and experience, the type of work environment/situation that would be ideal for you, and above all why you love graphic design.

Hope to hear from you soon!
